This Friday I left Huntington Beach with MMA coach Rafael Cordiero, his family, and fighter AHM fitness athlete Steve Mensing.  We were going out to the Wanderlei Silvas Gym in Las Vegas, NV.  Rafael Cordeiro is Wanderlei’s head coach when the axe murderer is preparing for a fight, he was nice enough to invite me along.  This weekend Wanderlei held tryouts for his upcoming web reality series (along the lines of TUF).  AHM athlete Steve Mensing got the opportunity to not only try out, but try his skills against the Axe Murderer himself in a great sparring session.  Steve did end up being one of the finalist from the tryouts.
